Mitsubishi Electric Italian Branch has its headquarter in Vimercate (MB). At the headquarters there is a 500-square-meter showroom, a venue for the organization of training courses dedicated to customers and students from technical institutes and universities. This area also includes the Air Conditioning Training Centre, a center for both practical and theoretical training in cooling, heating and air purification, and the Automation & Mechatronics District, a high-tech area that offers visitors an overview of advanced solutions in the field of industrial and process automation and in the field of numerical controllers.
Four sales offices are also located in Padua, Pavia, Rome, Rosà and Turin.


Mitsubishi Electric settled in Italy with direct offices in 1985, firstly as a branch of Mitsubishi Electric Germany and then contributed into Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V. in 1996. It is currently structured in three business divisions: Air Conditioning, Factory Automation and Mechatronics, Automotive. Support is also provided for the sales of Semiconductors. In 2015 it celebrated its 30th anniversary of activity in Italy.

In July 2009, Mitsubishi Electric Italian Branch was awarded the ISO 14001 certification, issued by Det Norske Veritas, thus showing its real commitment to reduce the environmental impact of its processes, products and services and proving the reliability of the environmental management system applied.
